Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your AEG Dishwasher.
Regularly Clean and Check Filters
The filters in the dishwasher should be checked and cleaned regularly. Dirty filters can lead to poor wash results. Ensure that the filters are correctly positioned after cleaning, as the dishwasher must not be used without them.
Use the Correct Detergent and Rinse Aid
To prevent water spots and ensure proper cleaning, increase the rinse aid dosing if necessary. Ensure the detergent is suitable for dishwashers and consider consulting the detergent's manufacturer if issues persist.
Ensure Proper Installation and Connection
The dishwasher must be correctly installed and connected. Regularly check the water inlet and drain hose for proper installation to avoid leaks or blockages.
Inspect and Maintain Spray Arms
Occasionally check the spray arms for any blockages or jamming, especially the middle spray arm. This ensures that water can reach all parts of the dishes effectively during the wash cycle.
Adjust Water Softener Appropriately
To prevent scale buildup, make sure that the water softener is correctly adjusted. Refill the special salt container as necessary to maintain soft water conditions.
